Ash Bowling Club was proud to host the Doreen Underhill Ladies Open Triples Tournament on Saturday, 7th June, and what a wonderful day it turned out to be. With 18 teams competing, the atmosphere was lively and full of competitive spirit. Despite the looming threat of some seriously bad weather, the skies held off, allowing for a fantastic tournament enjoyed by all.

Huge congratulations to the winning team from Hythe Bowling Club—Chrissie Lock, Mary Sherwood, and Barbara Willis—who played superbly to claim victory. Runners-up were Jean Johnson, Pat Jones, and Sandra Tracey from Victoria Park, putting up a strong fight throughout the day.

None of this would have been possible without the dedication of everyone who contributed to the event’s success—those involved in planning, organising, catering, bar service, cleaning, tidying up and re-laying the short mat. Their hard work ensured another hugely successful tournament for Ash Bowling Club.

Thank you to all the players and supporters who made the day special—we look forward to welcoming you back next year!
